Caerus Consulting is an independent consultancy providing advisory services in Corporate Governance, Risk and Change.

Caerus Consulting was started by Richard (Dick) Baker in 2008 after 17 years working in blue chip organisations, both in house and consulting. We work across sectors, private and public, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

Richard (Dick) Baker

Richard is a senior level advisor on change, corporate governance, board effectiveness and risk. He works with organisations designing and facilitating the change to help organisations navigate the future.

Richard has a broad range of experiences having worked within organisations and as a consultant since the early 90's in many parts of the world. In 2008 he set up an independent consultant practice supporting others on governance, risk and facilitating change.

Prior to setting up Caerus Consulting Ltd he was Head of Risk Management at St. James's Place Plc and before that a Principal Consultant with KPMG Consulting.

Richard writes and speaks regularly, is a member of the BSI committee for BS 13500, Code of practice for delivering effective governance. He is a trustee at The Resurgence Trust. He is also involved in Journeyman, a contemporary rites of passage and mentoring programme for teenage boys.
